Whether you need one or two steps to a doorway or platform or a multi-storey staircase to reach a roof-top or mezzanine floor, DeckSafe Solution’s GRP staircases offer an anti-slip, low-maintenance and low-noise solution.

Ideal for replacing slippery metal or rotten wooden steps, the fibreglass treads, handrailing and structural profiles are non-corrosive and UV stable; they’ll never go rusty, they’ll never fade and they’ll never need painting.

Each GRP staircase is designed to meet your specific requirements while ensuring all health & safety guidelines in Approved Document K are adhered to. Access staircases over 3.5m high will automatically have a mid-point landing which can be used to create a change in direction if required. We can also add safety gates or safety chains. As standard we include:

• Anti-slip Open Mesh Grating Stair Treads with contrasting Stair Nosing
• Anti-slip Open Mesh Grating landings
• Continuous SafeRail Handrail on both sides (unless against a wall)
• Minimum Safe Working Load of 5kN/m2

Additionally, add Tactile Plates to the top and the bottom to make them more accessible for the visually impaired.
