Designed for maximum performance, QuartzGrip® Grating provides excellent resistance to slips and falls in icy, oily, or wet conditions. Open Mesh Grating is manufactured to stop liquid pooling and allowing continuous air circulation all whilst catching debris and keeping the things and people below safe.
Installing GRP grating is fast and cost-effective. GRP is lighter than steel which reduces the need for equipment, and it doesn’t spark when cut, which reduces the fire risk that comes with hot works on site. Our GRP grating needs very little maintenance and will outlast other steel equivalents. It’s resistant to impacts and chemicals and its non-corrosive and UV stable. Since it’s self-coloured it maintains its performance and appearance no matter how much or how heavy its usage is.
QuartzGrip® GRP Open Mesh Grating is available in a variety of sizes and qualities. These include Standard Mesh, Mini Mesh, Micro Mesh, Screen Guard, Vinyl Ester, Phenolic, Concave and Conductive.
Our GRP grating enables businesses in all industries, whether that be Rail, Aviation, Marine, Offshore, Utility, and Industrial, to meet the health and safety requirements. The slip resistance meets the BS 4592 test for industrial flooring intended for use in wet areas. A coefficient of friction (CoF) is calculated by determining the mean angle of inclination that an operator can safely maintain when the flooring is subject to a continuous stream of water. Our Open Mesh Grating receives better results in comparison to the traditional materials such as metal grating.
