Our Solid Top GRP Panels are a lightweight, chemical resistant, heavy duty option suitable for use when there is a need for a fully covered surface. This could be on a walkway, a gully, or a trench. As the surface is anti-slip it is suitable for all amounts of foot traffic and since it has high load-bearing capabilities, it is also suitable for areas that will have wheeled traffic – from trollies, child buggies, wheelchairs and luggage to forklifts and other vehicles.
Manufactured by the fusion of anti-slip Flat Plate to an Open Mesh panel, the layers add strength and protection from the falling dirt and debris. Interlocking panels can have a waterproof seal where panels meet which will provide for extra protection to the chamber or trench underneath.
GRP Solid Top Grating Panels are much lighter than steel or concrete equivalents which means savings on installation time, transport costs and labour. They are an ideal solution for Manhole Covers; they are easier to lift and can be fitted with recessed handles and hinges.
GRP Structural Panels are relatively easy to cut with a jigsaw or chop saw but we can cut them for you if required.
